Chup Chup Ke Movie Review

Paresh Rawal as Gundya

A Gujarati businessman named Om Puri owes Gundya money. In order to pay off his debts, Gundya and his friend Jeetu, a young Gujarati boy, set out to sail to the U.S., but they encounter a young boy named Jeetu on the beach. Gundya convinces the businessman that Jeetu is his nephew and leaves him in the water as a guarantee.

Jeetu is heavily in debt, and he is ready to commit suicide in order to collect his insurance money. A couple of fishermen come to rescue him, and he is rescued by them. Gundya, meanwhile, owes money to a wealthy Gujarati businessman named Om Puri. When the two men find each other, Gundya hatches a plan to exchange Jeet for the money he needs to pay his debts. As a result, Jeetu pretends to be deaf and mute, and an incredible series of events unfold.

Neha Dhupia as Sushma Reddy

If you are looking for a good comedy movie, then you must watch Chup Chup Ke. This film has a good ensemble cast. Neha Dhupia is glam-doll-next-door. Paresh Rawal is the king of comedy. Om Puri and Asrani are Priyadarshan regulars. Shakti Kapoor has a small part, but her scene is cut in the midway. Anupam Kher is a good actor, but he doesn’t do much, apart from playing a father role in the movie.

Shahid Kapoor is good as the bad guy. Kareena looks gorgeous but never mouths a line. Suniel Shetty, meanwhile, gets the typecast protective role. He is a poor substitute for Jackie Shroff, and Neha Dhupia is mediocre in her role. Chup Chup Ke is not a silent movie, but it does have some good moments.

Rajpal Yadav as Bandya

In Chup Chup Ke, Rajpal Yadav plays a loser fisherman Bandya who has financial problems of his own. The film revolves around the friendship between these two. Jeetu is a young man who is neck-deep in debt. He decides to end his life by jumping into the sea.

Unfortunately, he fails to do so. Instead, fate has other plans for him and he is thrown into the net of a crooked fisherman named Bandya. The two men come to each other in the sea and Jeet is saved by Bandya.

The acting of Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav is good and the comedy is well-made. Despite having a very small role, both Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal make us laugh and smile at various points. Despite their minor roles, the movie’s characters will make us root for them. And despite the mediocre performances of the lead actors, Chup Chup Ke is a good family movie.

Cinematography

A whirlwind love story, Chup Chup Ke has a wacky, but likable cast. Although the movie is positioned as a romantic comedy, it contains elements of melodrama, romance, and action. The cinematography is solid and the film’s visuals are impressive. The actors, cinematographer, and direction all work together to make the film a compelling watch.

This is not an award-winning film, but the story-line is enjoyable and the camerawork is excellent. A small town hustler is continually plagued by creditors and scolds his family, and he fakes his own death in order to keep his family financially secure. His success lures a group of fishermen, who mistake him for a millionaire and plan a clever scheme to get his money.

The fishermen’s elaborate scheme to gain access to his fortune is foiled when the real person is revealed to be a poor man. The film’s master craftsman, Priyadarshan, adds unexpected complications and plenty of laughs.

Shahid Kapoor

The Chup Chup Ke movie review has a surprising twist. While it’s positioned as a comedy, it is also a mix of melodrama, action, and romance. But if you’re looking for a fun-filled and entertaining movie, Chup Chup Ke is the one for you. Shahid Kapoor stars as an outcast who gets swept away in a tragic accident.

The plot revolves around a small-town hustler named Jeetu. He’s constantly in debt and feels unworthy of his fiancee Pooja. Jeetu decides to commit suicide to make his family claim his life insurance. However, he’s found by fishermen who read a note in his pocket. They decide to reunite the lovers and make Jeetu’s dream come true.
